Access to clean water is not guaranteed. Wells can run dry or become contaminated, and seawater is too salty to drink without treatment. Large, fixed desalination plants are expensive to build and maintain, and they only serve one specific area.
That’s why portable watermakers are the ideal solution. They provide clean, drinkable water anywhere it’s needed, quickly, efficiently, and without heavy infrastructure or environmental damage.
1. Seawater is collected in buckets and poured into a large basin.
2. The portable water purification units convert the seawater into clean drinking water.
3. The clean water is stored in yellow 20-liter jerrycans.
4. The village chiefs, peacekeepers, and the local president oversee the monthly distribution to every family.
Each expedition produces 15,000 liters of water, and with twelve expeditions, we reach our target of 200,000 liters for the entire village.
In November 2025, we will launch Focus Festival, the first event where art, extreme sports, music, and water purification come together on the untouched shores of Madagascar.
The heart of the festival: a massive stage shaped like two mirrored F’s, built from at least 1,250 water jerrycans.
Symbolic & functional: each jerrycan will be filled with clean water after the festival and delivered directly to the people of Tsiandamba.
Impact in numbers:
Your contribution matters: buy a jerrycan, help build the stage, and change a family’s life. Together, we can:
- Train local communities to purify water themselves
For the first time ever, kitesurfing will be combined with Project FOCUS by acclaimed artist Wim Tellier. In collaboration with 250 fishermen, Tellier has created a monumental art installation of 130 traditional pirogues, each adorned with custom sails featuring photographs of irises taken using a technique designed by the artist himself. These boats form an 1800-meter-long exhibition that stretches across the beautiful beach of Ankasy Lodge, with the artwork seeming to disappear into infinity.
The Iris, as the purest part of the human body and a window to the soul, is the central theme of this project. By combining the raw power of kitesurfing with the timeless beauty of art, we are creating a truly unique and emotional experience that transcends both sport and culture.
This is the first event of its kind, where 60 kitesurfers will sail from the ocean, seamlessly connecting to the breathtaking art installation on the beach. It's a perfect example of how art and adventure can come together to inspire and elevate each other.
